Whole Horse Dissection Clinic

With

Ivana Ruddock, MVDr.

July 6, 7, 8 2012

(Fri, Sat, Sun)

Palmerston North

Whether rider, trainer, saddler, or horse health care provider, you will be taken beyond mere anatomy.

This wholistic presentation reveals the huge impact that our environment and actions impose upon the horse’s body and soundness.

For true understanding of the muscle and skeletal structure for bodywork purposes or trimming barefoot horses, this course is invaluable. What is witnessed here makes sense out of book pictures. N.K.

I cannot begin to put into words how awesome this class is. I’ll be happy to take it again, as with all ET courses you learn to really clarify with a repeat. It was wonderful to be able to go through the horse in its layers and to see how interconnected from the outside and in a body is. Hoppy Stearns

There are things, places or certain people who can give you the experience of a lifetime. The dissection clinic has done that for me. I have a new appreciation for the wonderful horses I come in contact with. I am ever grateful for this opportunity. Eli Dock

BAERBEL FOERSTER-HENRICH

Clinic

18-20 May 2012

Manawatu

Baerbel Foerster-Henrich began working at /training with Dr Schulten-Baumer while “Rembrandt” and Nicole Uphoff were with the Doctor. Isabell Werth joined the stable not long after this and then after a couple of years Nicole moved to Warendorf to train with the German team under Harry Boldt ready for Seoul and took Baerbel with her. Baerbel worked all of Nicole’s horses including Rembrandt, especially during the time just prior to Seoul when Nicole broke her arm, and then accompanied Rembrandt to Seoul when he won dual gold with Nicole.

After the games she continued with Nicole before commencing her own business in stables directly next door to Dr Schulten-Baumer where she continued to train whilst training horses and teaching up to GP level under her own umbrella.

In 2007 she won the Bundeschampionate riding “Samira” with the highest score ever achieved up until this day.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlQ9qUdVteA&feature=related

The Schulten-Baumer training system used by Isabell and Baerbel is recognised as one of the most successful modern day training systems and it is Baerbel’s understanding and depth of knowledge of this system and her ability to pass on this knowledge that is her greatest attribute.

The lessons will be held at the Manawatu RDA and possibly another arena in the Manawatu area. It is intended that Baerbel will return on a regular basis to the Manawatu to train riders.

The next clinic is booked for

22 - 24 June.

For booking lessons please contact Robyn Hirst with your preference of time/date. A $20 per lesson deposit is required to secure your lesson place.

Please contact Robyn for internet banking details for this.
