All the reviews in this site have been written by members. They reflect our interests and our response to the various Fiction and Fantasy works. We have divided the reviews into four media groups, Books, Movies including Anime film, Graphic novels & Anime in paper form, and Young Adult stuff irrespective of media. Select from the list, lower left. In addition, websites of interest may be found on the Links page, with a sentence or two describing them.
Structure of a Review.
Title (Wetas in Space)
If book, Author, else descriptor. (Space spoof, 2 DVDs)
Publisher, year. (Studio: 21th Century Fakes. 2008)
Source (Where to get it, or an NZ price if widely available)
Barking mad.
Genre (mainly SF vs Fantasy)
Then the text which will be about 150 words, over two or three paragraphs. It will focus on reviewer reaction rather than any synopsis, but may link to another more detailed description of the work. The star ratings run from 1 star (Yuuurrrgh!) up to 5 stars (Yeeeesss!). Add a phrase to reinforce the rating. (Your choice.) There are no half stars. Whilst some warped cosmologist may be able to dream up the concept of a half star, and corporate lawyers would have no problem with half shares in a star, reviewers will have to be definite. Hey, who cares. It is just an opinion.
