Councils of Social Services (COSS) exist all over Aotearoa / New Zealand to provide a focal point and "a voice" for local community groups. They speak to Central and Local Government and the wider community and voluntary sector. COSSes operate on the premise that individual community groups have very little power, but united they are a very strong and significant sector of the community.

Hutt Council of Social Services, (CC20602) is a registered charitable entity in terms of the Charities Act 2005. For more information about Hutt COSS, visit the Charities Register.
